David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, is a Nigerian Afrobeats musician who has revealed that he doesn’t talk to Burna Boy or Wizkid.
This was disclosed by the “Unavailable” singer on the American program Sway’s Universe.
The host, Sway, questioned, “Do you all communicate, you with Wizkid and Burna Boy?” Davido gave a disapproving nod in response.
He also played down the similarities between Burna Boy, Wizkid, and him.
He claimed to be the only well-known Afrobeats musician, dispelling the myth that he, Wizkid, and Burna Boy are the three largest Afrobeats artists in the world at the moment.
In an interview from last year, Davido disclosed that he was contacted by Wizkid and Burna Boy following the death of his first son, Ifeanyi, in a swimming pool mishap.
