Daniel Regha, a popular social media analyst, has pleaded with critics to quit abusing Super Eagles star Alex Iwobi.

The Fulham star finally removed all of the photos he posted on his official Instagram profile following the AFCON final.

The former Arsenal and Everton player was substituted by Alhassan Yusuf for the final ten minutes of the match.

However, in a tweet from his X account on Monday, Regha stated: “2023 AFCON has ended; move on already. Stop bullying Alex Iwobi or anyone on the Super Eagles team; for crying out loud, it’s just a match and trophy.

“This toxic behaviour is why some players choose not to represent Nigeria in tournaments. We complain of oppression but often aim to drive people into depression once things don’t go our way. Stop!”
