Cunningham slams AC Milan star after defeat to Liverpool

Former Wimbledon Defender Kenny Cunningham has criticized AC Milan star Rafa Leao for his poor performance against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League. Christian Pulisic scored the opening goal. However, Liverpool managed to secure a win with goals from Ibrahimhim Konate, Virgil Van Dijk, and Dominik Szoboslai for Arne Slot’s side.

Leoa was in a “coma” for forty minutes throughout the encounter, according to Cunningham, who was speaking with Premsport TV.

The Portuguese international, in his opinion, is not a top player.

Cunningham said, “This lad is talked up like ‘Oh, elite player.’ There is a reason he’s at AC Milan and not one of the very best clubs in Europe because he turns up one game in every three.”

“It’s like Leoa was in an induced Coma for the first 40 minutes. This lad isn’t an elite player.”
