Chido Obi-Martin confirms his move to Manchester United

Chido Obi-Martin, a 16-year-old striker whose contract at Arsenal expired this summer, announced his transfer to Manchester United on social media.

Obi-Martin, who came up through the ranks of Arsenal’s youth team, scored ten goals in one academy match last season. Prior to joining United, he received the required Premier League approval and personal terms from the club.

After that, the agreement was approved, enabling Obi-Martin to relocate to Old Trafford. He thanked everyone who had supported him thus far and expressed his joy at signing with the team.

Obi-Martin, who scored ten goals in one game for Arsenal U16s against Liverpool in November, thought a new contract had been reached with Arsenal, but he was unsure about his route into the first team and the project, therefore he decided to move on.

He feels that Old Trafford is a better place for him to grow, and he intends to impress Erik ten Hag there.
