Chelsea signs a new midfield player while Manchester United finalizes Heaton’s deal

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, a midfielder for Chelsea, joined from Leicester City on Tuesday.

This was revealed by the Blues on their website in a statement.

Dewsbury-Hall and the Premier League’s west London club inked a five-year deal.

“It is amazing to be sitting here as a Chelsea player,” said Dewsbury-Hall.

“This is a club people grow up watching and hoping to one day play for, so it is a privilege to be here.”

Concurrently, Manchester United said that Tom Heaton, the team’s goalkeeper, had agreed to a new, one-year contract.

“Everybody at United would like to congratulate Tom on the new deal and wish him well for 2024/25,” Man United’s statement read in part.

A few years back, Heaton made his senior debut for Manchester United.
