‘Ceasefire is overdue’: Around 100,000 in Gaza killed, injured, or missing, according to UN official

According to Philippe Lazzarini, commissioner-general of UNRWA (the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees), around 100,000 individuals in Gaza have been killed, wounded, or are missing.

“In addition, around 17,000 children are unaccompanied or separated from their families,” he said.

“More than 80% of the population has been displaced, most several times.

“And the war goes on unabated though there will be no winner, only suffering, misery & grievance.”
