Brentford and Gremio are reportedly in negotiations over the signing of young player Gustavo Nunes, according to Sky Sports.
However, reports that a settlement has been reached are unfounded; there is still work to be done.
Before the deadline on Friday of next week, Brentford is eager to sign Nunes.
The 18-year-old appeared to bid farewell to Gremio supporters on Instagram following his goal against Fluminense on Tuesday in the Copa Libertadores last-16 match.
According to reports in Brazilian media, Nunes has a flight later this week.
