Bournemouth coach Iraola speaks on how they defeated Man City

Andoni Iraola, the manager of Bournemouth, celebrated his team’s 2-1 Premier League victory over Manchester City, saying they played confidently and played good defence against Pep Guardiola’s team.

Antoine Semenyo and Evanilson gave Bournemouth the lead, but Josko Gvardiol gave Manchester City a response.

Iraola commended the team’s resilience, saying they played fearlessly and played strong defence.

He underlined that playing better is more important than simply defeating City.

“You know you have to be at your best level and wait for them to not have their best day,”

“We had to feel the pressure and it was tight at the end. I’m very pleased. One thing is to beat City but another is to play better. We played with no fear, tried to press when we could and defended when we had to,” Iraola said to Sky Sports after the match.
