Taiwo Awoniyi has received advice from Manchester United great Wayne Rooney on how to get better.
One of the top-rated attackers in the English premier league right now is Awoniyi.
Despite missing a significant portion of the season due to injury, the striker has demonstrated his class this season.
Following his comeback from injury last month, the Nigerian international has scored twice for Nottingham Forest.
But Rooney thinks the forward can provide more danger to score goals.
He said to Nottingham Post “As a forward, if you put yourself in the middle of the goal, you will get chances.”
“He needs to take a little bit more care and perhaps make the extra pass, but he will get better opportunities.
“He has to be ready when those chances come. If he progresses to a bigger club, he will have to be taking those chances.”
