President Bola Tinubu received a visit from Edo State Governor-elect Mathew Okpebholo on September 26 to express his appreciation to him for winning the gubernatorial election.
Important members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, as well as a number of governors chosen to serve under the party’s platform, attended the gesture.
Among the delegation were prominent individuals such as Dapo Abiodun, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Uba Sani, Usman Ododo, and Hope Uzodimma, the head of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF).
Prominent Edo figures including Senator Adams Oshiomhole and the state’s deputy governor, Philip Shaibu, were also among the entourage.
