Newcastle would not let sports director Dan Ashworth join Manchester United until 2026 unless they pay more than £20 million, according to The Telegraph.

According to the Mail, Ashworth has sought to leave Newcastle, but it looks like Manchester United still has work to do to acquire their man.

According to The Athletic, Newcastle has placed Ashworth on gardening leave and wants £20 million for him.
