Ajibade thanks fans and expresses regret at the Super Falcons’ early exit from the Paris 2024 Olympics

Rasheedat Ajibade voiced dissatisfaction about the Super Falcons’ early elimination from the 2024 Olympics.

The Super Falcons lost to Japan 3-1 on Wednesday, forcing them out of the women’s football competition.

Randy Waldrum’s team managed just one goal and gave up five goals in their three group match losses.

Despite the team’s dismal performance, Ajibade is grateful to the supporters for their support.

Rasheedat Ajibade wrote on X formerly known as twitter “It was a disappointing outcome in the end for the team after three tough tests against some of the best football teams in the world.”

“We thank you for your endless love and support. We appreciate every one of you. In all, we give thanks to God.”
