Yakubu Aiyegbeni, a former striker for the Super Eagles, has stated that Mohammed Salah, a winger for Liverpool, is not a top player.
On the list of African football players with the most Premier League goals, Aiyegbeni comes in at number five.
With 154 goals in 252 games, Salah has more goals than the Nigerian.
But Aiyegbeni believes that players like Sadio Mane, Austin “Jay Jay” Okocha, Yaya Toure, and Didier Drogba are superior to Salah.
“Salah is not world-class in my opinion. He is not good with the ball, and the majority of his goals are lucky goals.
“The greatest African players in the Premier League are Okocha, Drogba, Kanu, Yaya Toure, Emmanuel Adebayor and Sadio Mane,” Yakubu said on Talksport in quotes revealed via Football Factly.
