Wizkid, a popular Afrobeats singer, has accused Nigeria’s wealthy elite of using poverty as a weapon to force the country’s impoverished people to adore them. While teasing his colleague Davido on social media, he made the assertion.
Despite coming from an affluent family, Wizkid maintained that he was more successful and wealthier than Davido. Claiming that Davido is “cheap” and charges less than most of their colleagues in the music industry, he called Davido a “spoilt rich kid.”
