Hugo Broos, Bafana Bafana’s coach, has stated that Super Eagles coach Jose Peseiro exhibited indications of dread during their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, semifinal match on Wednesday.
Nigeria defeated Bafana Bafana 4-2 on penalties on Wednesday to move to the tournament’s final, where they will face host Ivory Coast on Sunday.
“I saw the coach of Nigeria gesturing with his hands for his players to go back because they were afraid. They couldn’t get back the ball,” he said at his post-match press conference.
