According to reports, American musician A$AP Rocky is planning to buy the English football team Tranmere Rovers. Joe Tacopina, a well-known lawyer, leads an investment group that includes Rocky, who is dating Rihanna.
Tacopina has been in negotiations for an 80 percent ownership for £15 million with the League Two team for more than six months. Rocky will probably go to games at Prenton Park after the prospective acquisition receives regulatory approval from the EFL.
According to a source, Rocky is dedicated to the Tranmere bid and intends to see Tranmere games once the agreement is finalized.
Joe feels that Tranmere might be changed now that Rocky is on board because it is underappreciated. Rihanna and Rocky, real name Rakim Mayers, are parents to two children.
