Ogun government suspends a teacher and questions the principal about the death of a student

A teacher at Obada Grammar School in Obada, Idi-emi, has been suspended by the Ogun State Government on charges of assaulting and disciplining Master Monday Arijo, an SS2 student. The teacher was arrested as a result of the Friday incident.

Mrs. Tamrat Onaolapo, the principal, was questioned for permitting physical punishment in violation of state regulations. The principal was given a full day to defend her behavior and face consequences.

The grieving family received a letter of condolence that promised justice and expressed condolences for the late student.

According to the letter, Arijo was a remarkable kid who will be missed by the state, the school, and his peers. It prayed for the deceased soul’s rest and for the family’s ability to cope with the loss.
