Ben, the recently evicted housemate of Big Brother Naija, has revealed his reasons for relocating from the UK to join the show. Ben was evicted from the season 9 edition of the show on Sunday.
In an interview with journalists, Ben stated that he aimed to use the platform to promote his nightlife business. He stated that he was not doing a 9-to-5 job and was paired with Tjay to promote his nightlife. Ben, a permanent resident in the UK, explains that nightlife is on the weekends, and he came to Big Brother to push his nightlife 100%.
He also mentions that people now use the tagline “Action Ben, no party.” However, the most difficult part for Ben was paying all his bills before joining the show.
Speaking in an interview with some journalists on Wednesday he said, “First and foremost, I’m not doing a 9 to 5 job. Tjay reached out to me and said let us pair together. So if I was doing a 9 to 5 or under a student’s visa, I would not have come.
“But I’m a permanent resident in the UK, so nightlife is on the weekend. I came for Big Brother to push my nightlife 100%. To sell myself. I tell people that I organise parties, and people would come to my parties.
“People now even use the tagline number, Action Ben, no party. But the most difficult part for me was I had to pay all my bills before coming.”
