Ahead of Tottenham’s match against Arsenal, Arteta sustains another injury

Manager Mikel Arteta has hinted that Riccardo Calafiori may not be available for Arsenal’s upcoming Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur.

Calafiori, a 22-year-old Italian footballer, was forced to leave the Italy team after suffering a calf injury in the 71st minute of a 3-1 away victory against France in the Nations League.

Calafiori has left camp and will travel back to the UK for additional medical testing, according to information released by the Italian Football Association.

On Monday night, the Azzurris are scheduled to play Israel in their second Nations League match.

Declan Rice, who was controversially sent off during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Brighton, is already absent for Arteta.
