Four Permanent Secretaries have been appointed to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) by President Bola Tinubu.
In a statement released on Wednesday in Abuja, Mr. Anthony Ogunleye, Director of Press for the Office of the FCT Minister, revealed this.
According to Ogunleye, the establishment of the Youth Development Secretariat and the impending retirement of two Permanent Secretaries made the appointments necessary.
He named the appointees as Nancy Nathan from the Northeast, Rotimi Ajayi from the West, and Joy Okeke from the East.
He continued by saying that Tinubu has also authorised the formalisation of the role of Solicitor General of the FCT Administration as Permanent Secretary of the Legal Services Secretariat and Solicitor General.
The director announced that the appointees would be sworn in on Thursday, including Mr. Abdullahi Ango, the Mandate Secretary of the Youth Development Secretariat.
Ten FCTA pioneer permanent secretaries were appointed by Tinubu on March 12 in accordance with the FCT Civil Service Commission Law, 2018’s stipulations.
