Wike pleads with protesters, saying, “We’re ready for dialogue.”

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, has once again invited the demonstrators of “End Bad Governance in Nigeria” to participate in conversation.

He stated that in addition to listening to their worries, the administration is prepared to explain certain aspects of governance to them that they might not be aware of.

On Thursday, August 1, he gave a speech to four recently appointed chiefs in the area as part of the staff of office presentation.

Wike praised the FCT demonstrators for their nonviolent actions and asked them to keep up their resistance against those who seek to ruin the country.

He claimed that Abuja, the capital, was still a valuable resource for the nation and that its entire economy would suffer if the Federal Capital Territory was destroyed.
