Tell your father that we are suffering, says VeryDarkman In reference to ENDBADGOVERNANCE protest, addressing Tinubu’s daughter

Martin Otse, a social media critic known as VeryDarkMan, has criticised President Bola Tinubu’s daughter, Folashade, for her recent statements urging Nigerians to give her father three years in office before evaluating his performance.

In a recent statement, Folashade Tinubu urged the public to be patient and advised against joining in the impending hunger protest from August 1 to 10.

VeryDarkMan responded to the comments in a video posted on Monday, expressing strong opposition to Folashade’s remarks.

He accused her of ignoring the terrible economic issues Nigerians face under Tinubu’s administration.

According to the social media critic, the present administration’s first year has been characterized by economic hardship and a considerable increase in fuel prices.

“Did you realize that people will not be complaining if your father’s first year in office was not the worst in Nigeria’s presidential history?” VeryDarkMan queried.

He encouraged Folashade to persuade her father to handle the rising economic issues rather than exacerbating the situation.

In the same line, he referred to Tinubu’s previous opposition to fuel price increases during the administration of former President Goodluck Jonathan, implying that similar protests are now necessary owing to the present government’s policies.

He opposed any potential violence related with the protests while emphasising the need of advocating for economic rights.

“Warn your father, tell him that Nigerians are suffering. Talk to Daddy for us. Did you warn your dad when he went to protest against Goodluck Jonathan when he raised the fuel price from N65 to N87? The only thing I won’t approve of is that the protesters are violent. Stand for your rights, Nigerians.

“Protest, but don’t loot. Look at the prices of things. Fuel is N700 plus, and it is still not available. See the queues in gas stations. You can’t increase the price of things, and they will still not be available,” he added.
