According to Nigerian musician Innocent Ujah Idibia, better known by his stage as 2Baba, Burna Boy, a colleague, is presently ranked in the top five musicians worldwide.
In response to a video of Burna Boy singing his hit song “Last Last” at a European event, 2Baba made this statement. He clarified that his words were inspired.
The worldwide fame of Burna Boy, he said, was “all a dream.”
He stated, “Burna is in the Top 5 music artists in the world right now. I say this from an inspirational place, it was all a dream.”
According to news reports, Burna Boy made history last month by becoming the first African musician to sell out London Stadium twice.
At his sold-out performance at London’s Koko Camden, he also took home a Brit plaque for being the first African singer to achieve two billion streams in the country.
