Daddy Freeze responds after the court maintains his N5 million adultery fine

The well-known media figure Daddy Freeze has responded to the N5 million fine imposed by the Appeal Court on him for allegedly having an affair with another man’s wife.

According to news reports, on February 18, 2021, Daddy Freeze was forced to pay N5 million by a Rivers State High Court in Port Harcourt for having an adulterous relationship with Benedicta Elechi.

He was directed to pay the fine to Paul Odekina, who at the time of the adulterous act was married to Benedicta Elechi.

Daddy Freeze requested redress from the Appeal Court because he was unhappy with the ruling.

In response to the claim that he had an affair with a married woman, the OAP refuted the claim during his Instagram live broadcast.

He stated “I will pay the adultery fine; my wrist watch alone cost over N100 million, but I am innocent.

“This happened many years ago. I was going through serious torment, so was the lady, and we both jam many years later in church; this happened over 12 years ago.”
