Finidi George, the recently hired Rivers United head coach, has stated a strong desire to create an impression at the club, according to News Men.
The former Nigerian Premier Football League winners confirmed Finidi’s appointment on Wednesday.
The former Ajax winger has stated that he wants to help the team secure a continental ticket next season.
“I am honoured to have this opportunity, and I thank the Sports Commissioner, the General Manager, and the supporters for their confidence in me. I am committed to working hard and making the team win,” Finidi said at the contract signing ceremony.
“The target set is to win games and at least finish on the continent next season.”
