Olu Jacobs, a well-known actor in Nigeria, has denied rumors that he passed away.
Speaking with difficulty, Jacobs labeled the reports as false in a family-released video.
In the video, the thin-appearing actor was getting his hair trimmed by his son, who questioned him, “Hello, dad, can you hear me? They said you died.”
The actor replied saying: “I can hear, no, it’s a lie – I’m alive.”
The son continued and said: “We are going to Ikoyi Club today and they will see you, all those foolish people.”
Although Olu Jacobs’ death was widely believed to have occurred on Sunday, both his family and the Actors Guild of Nigeria refuted the claims.
Over the previous few years, there have been multiple reports of the Nollywood actor’s death.
