Ted Curd, the goalkeeper for Chelsea, has joined Hampton & Richmond of the National League South after leaving the Premier League’s west London team.
Curd, 18, signed a season-long loan agreement with Hampton & Richmond.
This implies that Curd won’t get the chance to play for Chelsea the following season under new boss Enzo Maresca.
The Blues announced Curd’s transfer agreement on their website on Sunday.
“Chelsea goalkeeper, Ted Curd has joined National League South side Hampton & Richmond on a season-long loan,” Chelsea’s statement read in part.
“Good luck this season, Ted!”
During the second part of the 2023–24 season, Curd was named to Chelsea’s first-team bench for both the away game at Aston Villa and the home leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final against Middlesbrough.
