Wizkid, an Afrobeats musician, has sparked controversy with a recent cryptic message ahead of his colleague Davido’s wedding to his fiancée, Chioma Rowland.
According to news reports, Davido stated a few days ago that he and Chioma would marry on June 25 in Lagos, despite recent claims of infidelity against the musician.
On Sunday evening, the DWW boss posted pre-wedding images with Chioma to social media.
Wizkid, his colleague, sparked a commotion by tweeting “Lol [lots of laughs]” moments after Davido revealed his pre-wedding images.
According to some fans, the Starboy leader took another shot at his rival, Davido, on Monday morning.
Wizkid said on his X handle, “I’m praying for every understanding woman on the planet! “Your king loves you.”
His remark attracted conflicting comments, with many implying that he was disparaging Davido’s soon-to-be wife, Chioma, who has been extremely patient with the musician despite adultery claims.
Sophia Momodu, Davido’s first baby mother, confirmed in a recent statement that she and the singer resumed their affair between 2020 and 2022, which coincided with the DMW leader wooing his fiancée, Chioma.
