Niko Kovac, the former manager of Bayern Munich, has come to light as an unexpected candidate that Liverpool is considering, the Daily Mail reports.
After leaving Wolfsburg earlier this season, the Croatian is free to sign with any Premier League team. It is said that Kovac’s agents have recently visited London in order to inquire about any management changes that might occur this summer.
The 52-year-old took leadership of Monaco from 2020 to 2022 after winning the German Cup with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2018 and then winning the league and cup double at Bayern.
As interest grows, Bundesliga teams are apparently also considering Kovac.
