APC advises gubernatorial candidates to refrain from making careless remarks

In order to avoid making statements that can inflame the political climate, the All Progressives Congress, APC, Ondo State chapter has instructed candidates for the party’s ticket in the April 20 primary poll.

The party’s state publicity secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaye, stated in its Easter message to members on Monday in Akure that the organization’s primary goal is still to promote an environment that would allow a popular candidate to emerge.

Kalejaye asserts that the party is the most organized and successful in the state, and that it is growing stronger and intimidating to other political groups.

Assuring its thronging members of brighter days ahead, he praised the devotion and allegiance of its leaders and members thus far.

The party’s leader, Kalejaye, was certain that Nigeria’s economy will improve quickly.

“We rejoice with our members, and indeed, all Christians, over the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, which symbolises victory. It is the essence of the Easter celebration.

He said “It is our wish that the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ will activate a deeper sense of patriotism, unity within our fold, and uncommon love for our dear state in the interest of all.”
