Tinubu travels to Niger to launch the Agric projects and rename the airport

Arriving in Niger State to officially launch the mechanized agriculture initiative is President Tinubu.

Agro-processing zone, agricultural equipment, and the renamed Minna International Airport are anticipated to be officially opened by Tinubu.

The state governor, Umar Bago, christened the airport Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna on Friday.

On June 20, 1990, former military Head of State Ibrahim Babangida gave the airport its official opening.

The airport, which was previously closed because of the cut-off runway, was remodeled by Bago and now features a fully equipped domestic terminal.

The agro-processing zone project will occupy around 2,000 hectares, of which 1,000 hectares will be utilized for greenhouses and drip irrigation, and another 1,000 hectares for the processing of dairy products.
