No expense is too high for high-quality education – Governor Pastor Umo Eno

Akwa Ibom State Governor Pastor Umo Eno has promised that no expense is too high to provide high-quality education for the state’s youth.

“If I can get one Akwa Ibom child motivated with our education exchange with the United Kingdom, I would have succeeded,” Eno said, vowing to make sure that every Akwa Ibom children has a free education that is also of high quality.

In order to do this, the governor recently sealed an agreement for an education exchange with Michael Situ, the mayor of the London Borough of Southwark, at his government house office. Situ was there for a working visit with a UK team.

Students who have benefited from the exchange, as well as the teachers, are now in a better position to investigate possibilities overseas.

The governor emphasized that the advantages for Akwa Ibom children and the development of human capital surpass the project’s potential costs, despite the current economic climate and unstable exchange rates making it potentially costly.

News reporters discovered that the initiative would provide kids from both countries with new chances by allowing them to share curricula, cultural practices, sports, and unique academic and vocational courses.

Mayor Situ informed Governor Eno that the purpose of the visit was to look for potential areas of collaboration during the exchange bond signing.

He expressed optimism that the residents of Southwark, particularly those of African descent, will be thrilled to have the chance to visit Akwa Ibom, even though he disclosed that schools in the London Borough of Southwark that have been informed about the exchange program were already excited about it.

He said that the program will open doors for contacts in the fields of athletics, culture, and other interests.
