Ngannou is eliminated by Anthony Joshua, and Drake loses his £478,000 stake

Rapper Drake lost a £478,000 wager that he thought Francis Ngannou would beat Anthony Joshua in Friday’s heavyweight boxing match.

Drake was going to get paid a cool £1 million.

But Ngannou was defeated by Joshua in just two rounds.

Ngannou was sent hurtling to the canvas by Joshua’s stunning knockout, and the former UFC champion had to obtain medical attention in the ring before he could rise up.

As a result, Drake’s combat sports losing skid continues.

Drake suffered the loss of more than half a million pounds in January after supporting Sean Strickland to defeat Dricus Du Plessis for the middleweight title in the UFC.

The 37-year-old also lost £430,000 after betting £700,000 on Logan Paul to overcome Dillon Danis in the boxing ring, and he also lost £430,000 when Israel Adesanya unexpectedly lost to Strickland in the octagon.
