Wayne Rooney, a former captain of Manchester United, isn’t giving up on his goal of becoming a Premier League manager.
Rooney has now said that his ideal teams are Manchester United and Everton.
As a player, the 38-year-old played for 16 years at both Goodison Park and Old Trafford.
He is now eager to take on a management role at any club again.
Rooney was fired from Birmingham City after just three months in charge, ending his miserable tenure there.
“I definitely want to get back into management.
“The aim is to manage in the Premier League eventually, Manchester United or Everton are the dream jobs, but it’s a process.
“In the next 10 years hopefully I can be in with a chance of taking one of the top jobs,” Rooney said on BBC One.
