President Bola Tinubu intends to execute a few of the suggestions mentioned in the Oronsaye Report.
This comes twelve years after the Steve Oronsaye Panel’s report, which was submitted and published two years later, on the reorganization and rationalization of federal government agencies and parastatals.
Bayo Onanuga reports that the Federal Executive Council and the President decided on Monday to put the recommendations into action.
“Many agencies will be scrapped and many others will be merged, to pave the way to a leaner government,” he said.
The main goal of this is to reduce the expense of governance.
