Gbenga Alade is named CEO of AMCON by Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has accepted Gbenga Alade’s nomination as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).

Ajuri Ngelale, the presidential spokeswoman, confirmed this in a statement on Thursday.

He also introduced the rest of the AMCON management team.

He stated that the nominations were awaiting ratification by the Nigerian Senate.

The President called on the new appointees to demonstrate their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and diligence in ensuring that AMCON’s operations were more efficient, transparent, and consistent with his determination to sanitize the nation’s financial system in order to maximize value and boost investor confidence in the Nigerian economy.

Gbenga Alade — Managing Director/CEO

Lucky Adaghe — Executive Director

Aminu Ismail — Executive Director

Adeshola Lamidi — Executive Director
