President Bola Ahmed Tinubu welcomed the Super Eagles and members of Team Nigeria to the State House Council Chambers on February 13.
During the reception, President Tinubu conferred the Member of the Order of Niger (MON) title upon them and generously bestowed houses and lands in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
As a token of appreciation for their dedication and service, the President also presented the team and Super Eagles with a flat in Nigeria.
President Tinubu expressed gratitude to the players and Team Nigeria for their resilience, acknowledging their ability to uplift the nation’s spirit through their performances. He commended the Super Eagles for displaying sportsmanship and a positive attitude, emphasizing his pride in their accomplishments.
